On Saturday the 18th of June the Waratah UTD, C Grade team celebrated a fantastic cause by wearing special socks in Support of MND by Sockit2MND which were proudly sponsored by MB Haulage a cause that is very close to team member Mark Turner.
The team competed with a few fill ins from the woman’s team and had a great 3-2 win over Cudal.
Brett Sammut opened the scoring off a fantastic cross from Paddy McGinley with Waratah Women’s Star Ash Fiene scoring a double and sealing the match.
